The Wrong Reasons to Not Buy Replica Bags (Must Read)

A Chinese worker at a factory in Prato, Italy.

Dear blog readers,

There are certain reoccurring reasons that people state prevent them from buying replica bags. Some authentic purists often even get offended when they hear other people may mix in a fake or two into their collection, and they begin to spurn a list of criticisms, three key ones which include:

  • The bags are made by factory workers in poor conditions in China (or another developing country).
  • The original brands make it with the care and love of a true artisan – that is why they deserve to be paid thousands of dollars for their art.
  • The bags support terrorists, gangs, and every other despicable organization out there.

Now don’t get me wrong. There are good reasons not to buy replicas of certain bags. For example there are certain bags I like to buy authentic because the embroidery or handwork is not something that I have seen eloquently created in the replica market. Or when a certain bag by a certain designer that I love is so fringe or non-popular that I know a replica manufacturer cannot get perfectly right (hence why I recommend sticking with many popular models when it comes to shopping for replica bags).

Some of my friends get duplicate fake bags of their real ones, simply because they don’t want to worry about their thousand dollar investment getting dirty or deteriorating quickly. So I definitely understand that there are situations where it is better to buy authentic, while there are other situations where it is better to buy fake.

However the key point I am trying to make here is that this air of snobbery and those oft mentioned criticism I listed above are not justified, especially after the damning New Yorker article which was released recently, which makes explicit the fact that all of our favorite designers, whether it be Gucci, Prada, or even Chanel, outsource their work to Chinese factories that are located in Europe. The article even states that many of these brands outsourced their work directly to Asia at certain points, before they realized they could not do that and simultaneously label their products “Made in Italy”.

I find the article very ironic because very so often on this blog I notice that in the comments certain individuals pop up and use luxury or designer goods as a tool to attack others, try to elevate themselves, and essentially use it as a mechanism to deem themselves superior. Examples include:

This prominent niche of people who I call orthodox authentic shoppers like to think they have a certain air of moral superiority when it comes to buying strictly authentic bags. And this is what is wrong. These are the biggest shockers I read in the article (you can read the original by clicking here):

1.Workers employed to make bags for top brands (e.g. Gucci) work in very poor conditions.

Based on the price tag people tend to naturally assume that the bags are made by artisans who are paid well and who treated like humans. This is wrong. The article highlights how many workers work in poor conditions where they are yelled at to meet quotas, work long hours, and sometimes are not even paid for their work (which has lead to protests against certain factories). Read this snippet from the article:

One of the employees who protested later told me that he had been paid only twelve hundred euros a month, with no benefits, to work in a freezing-cold room. He remembered working on products for companies including Ferragamo, Prada, and Dior. The crew chief, he said, “would scream at us to work faster, to get more pieces done.” (The employees were officially paid a higher salary, to comply with the law, but, according to a union representative, managers required them to withdraw their “extra” wages and give that money to the owner.)

2. Most designer products are made by Chinese workers in a town called Prato, Italy.

Factories import workers from China as well as other developing countries to work in factories in Prato which have deals with top brands to make their goods.

3. If 2 steps of the manufacturing process take place in Italy then a product can be labelled “Made in Italy”

This allows designer brands to outsource the remaining steps to countries with cheap labour in order to maximize their profits. In the ‘90s brands would make their goods from start to finish in China or Eastern European countries (where labour costs are lower than Europe) and lie to their consumers labelling their products “Made in Italy”. They stopped when they were caught.

4. It costs Gucci about $75 USD per bag.

Read this snippet to see how much it costs per average Gucci bag produced:

Arturo took me through the economics of doing work for luxury-fashion brands. He was paid a set fee for an order, no matter how long it took to complete. He generally lost money on the first bags he finished, but his workers got much faster with repetition, and the later iterations were profitable. When he was fulfilling Gucci contracts, he said, the company paid him an average of nineteen euros an hour. He showed me a bag that featured the company’s insignia fabric, with its interlocking “G”s, and said, “This fabric would cost fifteen euros a metre. But they make millions and millions of metres, so they don’t pay fifteen. Maybe ten. The leather here costs maybe fifteen to twenty euros. It’s two euros for the zipper, plus the money they pay us—that’s the cost. And they put it on the market at between ten and fifteen times that cost.”

And another:

In 2014, an Italian artisan spoke to the investigative television journalist Sabrina Giannini. Gucci had given him a big contract, he said, but the pay was so low—twenty-four euros a bag—that he had subcontracted the work to a Chinese mill, where employees worked fourteen-hour days and were paid half what he made. When the bags made it to stores, they were priced at between eight hundred and two thousand dollars.

The Bottom Line

I could go on and on and on about how this article debunks a lot of myths about authentic bags being made, but that’s unnecessary.

The prime take away from this all is that there are wrong reasons not to buy replicas, and right ones. The ones discussed in this article are the wrong reasons not to buy replicas.

Another key takeaway is that as much one covets designer brands they are a business at the end of the day – i.e. a money making enterprise, and as a result we should not fetishize these brands to the point where we forget that they too can have disheartening manufacturing practices. There is a big percentage of “fugazee” when it comes to luxury goods.

Can You Spot a Fake Louis Vuitton Bag? Authentic vs. Replica Louis Vuitton Neverfull Comparison

louis-vuitton-neverfull-authentication-guide-fake-vs-real
One bag is a GM (the one on the left with the white background) while the other is an MM so please keep that difference in mind while reading this guide!

Louis Vuitton is and always will be one of the most wanted designer brands out there! The Neverfull bag specifically is one of their most famous bags – celebs and fashionistas from all walks of life have shown their love for the bag. I personally love the Neverfull because it is one of the most functional bags in my wardrobe – it is big and fits EVERYTHING! Especially if you go for the bag in its largest size – the GM! This handbag review will compare an authentic Louis Vuitton Neverfull Mimosa bag to a replica version of the same bag. So can you tell off the bat which is fake? Whether your answer is yes or no scroll down below to see if you’re right!

louis-vuitton-neverfull-authentication-guide-fake-vs-real-2

1) Look at the canvas quality of the bag

This is a hard difference to spot between these 2 bags since the canvas quality is on point for the replica, but a bad knockoff will have a plastic-y feel to the canvas material. The canvas refers to the monogrammed brown material used for the body of the bag.

louis-vuitton-neverfull-authentication-guide-fake-vs-real-3

2) Look at the stitching of the bag at the sides & underneath the bag

Once again the replica bag featured in this post is of a very high quality so it is hard to notice a major flaw, but make sure that the side of the bag’s stitching aligns. The shapes on the Monogram Canvas should also align on the sides of the bag. If you spot poor or spotty stitching, or stitching that is very loose quickly then you most likely have a bad fake on your hands. Looking underneath the bag is very important as many replica sellers get lazy when it comes to the bottom of a bag and cut corners on a spot they think most people don’t pay attention to so make sure you peek underneath!

louis-vuitton-neverfull-authentication-guide-fake-vs-real-4

3) Look inside the bag to see the quality of the lining

As mentioned before replica sellers often cut corners on areas they perceive to be less important on a bag such as the interior so make sure to look inside your potential purchase before spending any money! The interior of a Louis Vuitton neverfull is a cotton lining that is sturdy. Make sure to pay attention to the lining print and the pocket where the Louis Vuitton logo is printed. If anything looks off or the logo looks funny you may have a fake on your hands. The interior of the authentic bag in this case has a bit of a cleaner look around the seams of the bottom however other than that the two interiors look virtually identical.

louis-vuitton-neverfull-authentication-guide-fake-vs-real-5

4) Look inside the bag to see the stamping

One final think you can take a look at in order to determine whether your bag is fake or real is to take a look at the stamping on the interior label of the bag (which is on the pocket on the inside). Not only should you inspect the stitching around the label but you should also look at the way the words are stamped. If you see the T’s connect in “VUITTON” or if you see poor stamping quality this may indicate you have a fake. The replica bag pictured above is of a high quality (or it can be considered a superfake) so once again it is hard to spot these issues on that specific bag.

So how did you do? Did you easily figure out which bag was the fake? Well if you haven’t by now it was the one of the right hand side of the screen (the bag with the darker pictures/non-white background). This bag is actually a very good replica (a superfake or counter quality replica) so the tips given in this article don’t necessarily apply, but most replica bags out there are not superfakes so you will be able to easily spot these flaws. I hope this guide is helpful for either a replica buyer looking to buy a copy of the Louis Vuitton neverfull handbag (so they know how to purchase a top quality bag) as well as anyone looking to buy an authentic and wanting to make sure they don’t get duped into paying the authentic price tag for a knockoff Louis Vuitton!  Feel free to comment below and let me know whether you’d go authentic or fake for this Louis Vuitton Neverfull bag!

MUST READ: Good Fakes VS. Bad Ones: Louis Vuitton Replica Guide

Can you spot the better replica? Hint: look at the overall composition of the two bags. They may not look overly different but the symmetry is more accurate in the left bag than the right one.

Hello y’all!

This post will serve as a very important guide to anyone looking to buy a knockoff or replica bag for the first time for any brand, even though the focus will be on Louis Vuitton in this particular post. The points made however are applicable when shopping for any brand out there so pay close attention especially if it is your first time you may be purchasing a fake bag!

Anyone who has bought a fake or replica bag out there knows that we are bombarded with many claims of various qualities and it seems like every replica seller in town has the best purse if we listen to their claims. But the truth is that there is a tiered system of quality when it comes to replicas and I would say as an educated guess after buying so many for so many years that the tiers are roughly 3 levels. On the third bottom rung is the super disgusting and really really bad knockoffs that never deserve to see the light of day on anyone’s arm or shoulder (yet they still unfortunately do – we’ve all seen one). These are the bags that give replica bags a bad rep and make people think rightfully so that they’d rather be caught dead than wearing a replica purse. However if you are a seasoned replica purchaser you will have most likely come across the second tier as well. The second tier is in the middle – the bags aren’t bad, they get about 75-80% of the original right and they can pass for a fairly decent fake. These were the kind of bags I myself bought when I first dabbled in replica shopping.

But the third first is where it is at my friends if you are looking for quality. This is the tier that exceeds the 90% zone in terms of accuracy and can please even the nittiest of buyers. This is the only type of replica I personally buy as I like to collect bags and these are pretty much as good as the originals in my opinions. Do all brands come in all 3 tiers? I’m not sure and can’t answer this with 100% accuracy but from my purchasing experience most of the popular brands are covered in all 3 tiers. In this post I will compare what I think is a 1st tier replica Louis Vuitton Favorite in Monogram Canvas (which I bought from Designer Discreet) with a 2nd tier Louis Vuitton Favorite in Monogram Canvas (I bought this one a long time ago from a replica seller through email). I didn’t bother buying a 3rd tier for the comparison as you can simply use your imagination to come up with how ugly the bag in that tier looks.

As you can see the replica on the left side has a nice sheen to it like the authentic Louis Vuitton purses while the bag on the right is more dull.

A closeup of the bag on the right. The quality of the canvas is certainly not bad – but not as good the one on the right.
Top down is where a difference is totally visible. Just taking quick look at the two bags can help one see that the one on the left is superior to the one on the right. The overall composition and structure of the bag is very on point with the original LV.
The canvas is very vibrant on this replica and the stitching is very well done making it a 1st tier or counter quality replica.
Once again a more lux sheen can be observed on the bag to the left.
The chain is more faded for the 2nd tier replica while the 1st tier replica is nice and vibrant and gold!
The chain is more faded for the 2nd tier replica while the 1st tier replica is nice and vibrant and gold!
Sideshot of the 2nd tier replica. The cowhide patch is too large compared to the original.
Sideshot of the 1st tier replica. The cowhide patch is the same size as the original.

Chanel Real VS Replica Identification Guide

chanel jumbo flap real vs fake replica vs authentic guide
Can you tell which is real and which is fake? Keep in mind the lighting makes the bags colors look slightly different but both are equally black in person!

Hey guys!

I just wanted to do a quick post sharing what to look for when shopping for a Chanel handbag to make sure you are getting the best bang for your buck when shopping for an authentic or fake new, or used, or replica purse. Firstly I’d like to start off by saying Chanel is a very hard to find replica as the parent company actively seeks out any replica sellers who sell their products (and when you see the superfakes you will understand why) as they want to stop the devaluation train for Chanel. This is completely fair and I would do the same if I were Chanel as well.

I do however want to start with a few gripes I have with them, as a Chanel purse lover. Firstly dear Chanel why do you no longer coat your hardware with 24k gold? As a serious Chanel lover and collector I can say that there is a significant decline in quality within the Chanel brand over the years as they seemed to have lowered their production standards. I highly recommend well kept vintage bags that have the gold coating as these bags are in my opinion from a Chanel era in which quality was at the top of their priorities. Anyways enough chit chat. This guide is meant to give you a glimpse at a comparison between an authentic and replica Chanel with tips for spotting fake bags which have been very poorly constructed.

One thing I would like to say before providing this information is that Chanel replica manufacturers have been getting increasingly accurate to the point that I have heard many stories about fake Chanels being returned to authentic boutiques, which is really scary if you are dropping a couple of thousands on what you hope will be a real bag. Overall remember to be vigilant even if shopping in an authentic boutique! Take a look at the guide, and I hope it helps everyone out there!

When looking at the first photo I am sure a lot of people were confused – aren’t both bags real? Well they aren’t. These pictures feature a superfake Chanel being compared to an authentic so the subtleties are more minute and harder to spot, but I thought it would be worth showing! I will do another guide soon that outlines the really bad Chanel fakes I encourage you to burn if you see in person, on the spot, since they totally misconstrue the beauty of the originals, and are a total disgrace to Miss Coco’s designs.

chanel real vs fake replica vs authentic jumbo double flap guide 2
The replica looks a bit more “puffy” since it is newer compared to the used jumbo pictured right. Overly puffy bags are a sign of a fake Chanel however this comes down to the number of stitches! All Chanel bags (authentic and superfake) look a bit more puffy (but not overly) when new because they haven’t been subjected to the use and abuse of being worn on a daily basis! I’ll add a picture of the superfake Chanel jumbo once it has reached a point of use comparable to the authentic bag on the right!
chanel real vs fake replica vs authentic guide under bag stitching
A shot of the bottom of the bags. Make sure if you are shopping for a jumbo that there is a stitch down the middle otherwise you are dealing with a terrible fake.
chanel real vs fake replica vs authentic guide interior flap leather 6
The interior C’s are very important! In very poor Chanel replicas you will see very strange stitching that is either too skinny or too fat. The bag on the right is an authentic Chanel’s stitching while the bag on the left is a superfake that gets it close enough (the camera’s angle for the photo makes it look a little strange however).
chanel real vs fake replica vs authentic inside double flap guide 4
Depending on the production period of the bag a lighter or darker interior can be expected. What you should pay attention to inside the flap is the leather quality – if it seems fake or non-genuine leather then you are dealing with a bad replica my friends.
chanel real vs fake replica vs authentic guide hologram sticker jumbo 7
The interior hologram sticker is always a give away with a replica. Make sure to really pay attention to this if shopping on auction sites for a used authentic purse as the Chinese models usually have a standard number (10218184) that they use. However I have heard of cases of custom stickers being printed so once again be vigilant!
chanel real vs fake replica vs authentic guide hardware stamping 5.jpg
The hardware on the right is that of an authentic bag. The one on the left is the hardware of the superfake. As you can see both are equally well done. The heaviness of the hardware is a key giveaway to the authenticity of the bag. Once again many vintage pieces are coated with real gold for authentic Chanels, however their newer lines are not, and no replicas are coated with gold.
fashionophile ad chanel jumbo black double flap
The fashionphile ad I used to compare the replica and authentic. As you can see the bag is going for $5250 on fashionphile, while the supefake cost 1/10th of that.

Overall I hope this guide is helpful and makes everyone a wiser shopper when looking for Chanel whether it be online or in person as you are looking to drop down a lot of money on these beauties so make sure it is worth it!

Replica Balenciaga vs. Authentic Handbag Buying Guide

This post will be dedicated to mentioning all the things you should look for in a replica Balenciaga handbag before purchasing it in order to ensure it truly is as good as the real thing.

balenciaga replicaSo beautiful… how I love Balenciaga! What do you think of this replica?

The Zippers:
Although this may seem like such a small feature of a handbag it is actually one which you must really pay attention to in order to make sure the replica is reflective of a real balenciaga handbag. Balenciaga uses zippers created by Lampo. Usually fake handbags come with zippers engraved with the capitalized word Lampo – these are clearly fake. Good Balenciaga replicas should have Lampo zippers which have the word Lampo written in a slanted or italics font. In addition to this the “L” from Lampo must extend to the end of the word. A trademark symbol should also appear beside the world Lampo. Usually when my friends show off their replica Balenciaga’s to me I take a look at the zippers first. If the replica artists have paid attention to the zippers it is a sign that they have an eye for detail and will follow through with other finer or subtle details on the rest of the handbag.

lampo zipper
The Leather:
Leather oh leather. This is the most visible part of your handbag so clearly it is a big point to consider when purchasing a replica. Authentic Balenciaga uses either goatskin or lambskin leather depending on which collection a specific handbag is from. The leather is very soft and feels quite smooth and carefree in your hands. It is almost silky in a sense. Authentic Balenciaga leather also has a shine which is not overpowering (as many of the fakes are) but at the same time noticeable. Its leather is distressed but not over the top cracked out. The tassels attached to the handbag should be equally as soft. The leather of a Balenciaga plays a big part in creating its elegance which is why it is important to pay attention to this when you are shopping around for a replica.

A lot of replicas unforutnately are overly cracked out and overly shiny. This completely takes away from the beauty of the Balenciaga and trust me girlfriend will be noticeable from a mile away to a true fashionista. I think that replicas don’t offend companies like Balenciaga when done properly but when it is horrible its completely misrepresents their product.

So check with any site you are thinking of buying from to make sure the materials they use are the same as the authentic and if they aren’t DO NOT BUY. Your bag will look tacky and spotted as a fake from a mile away.

real-fake-balenciaga-black-calf-leather-twiggy-bag
The difference is clear and upsetting. The fake does not hold the beauty of the real handbag.

Another more minute yet equally important feature of a Balenciaga. If the end of the straps are folded over this is an immediate sign that the Balenciaga is fake. Fake Balenciaga handbags usually have a more squared off bale.

The Handles:
Finally one last key part of a Balenciaga I would like to discuss with my fellow shopping peers. The handles of an authentic Balenciaga should not have a finished or coated look. The Balenciaga should have handles which are weaved, or braided with leather. Balenciaga themselves call it “sueded leather”, which has a raw appearance to it and looks more like rope or a shoelace. This is a detail fakes often miss unfortunately.

balenciaga replica handle authentic

You should really pay attention to all these details if you want to find a replica handbag which truly reflects the edgy yet chic personality of a Balenciaga handbag.

Also I will be posting guides for Celine replica buying, Louis Vuitton replica buying etc. in the near future! We should aim as shoppers to buy what I call “authentic replica designer handbags” which means they have every part of an authentic bag with the price tag being the only key difference if you know what I mean.

Celine Replica Bags: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly!

celine-replica-bags-good-bad-ugly-review

When it comes to buying CELINE replica bags you have to be very careful since they are extremely popular at the moment! You could easily fall for what I call replica ugly which is as low as you can go when it comes to buying a fake bag, let alone a fake CELINE. Replica ugly basically refers to the deep waters of fake that nobody wants to be swimming in especially when these bags don’t sell for cheap online (yes even for a fake!). This article will explore the three different qualities and I will review my personal CELINE replica bags showing you how I fell for a mediocre replica and eventually how I ended up finding the best quality of CELINE in the black nano I purchased which I am still in love with till this day! First of all I’d like to note that the CELINE nano is my favorite CELINE model after the trio because it is so petite and functional, and I am personally in a stage in my life where less is more and I think my purse choices are beginning to reflect this personal philosophy.

Anyways lets get back on point. The ugly replica as you can see is pictured first and when you compare it to the third picture a.k.a the good CELINE replica you will shocked and astonished to hear that some people pay for that ugly replica and even consider wearing it. The bag is COMPLETELY off. Everything from the zipper placement, to the dimensions, to the handles, to the logo are done extremely poorly. It can hardly be considered a bare bones replica bag and I think you can guess just as well as I can why that is. I will have to say that when you hear people dissing fakes, it is the ugly replicas that they are most likely referencing as these bags are a shame to the original design and to bag making in general. I think that if you are going to buy a replica you should purchase one that at least respects the original design or don’t even buy it at all as it will quite frankly turn out to be a waste of your money. Ok so I had to do some googling to come across the ugly replica and it is not part of my personal collection but I think right off the bat anyone with any knowledge of CELINE will be able to point out the flaws. First the loose handles completely defy the original CELINE design which is so structured. Secondly the logo has been maximized and looks terrible. The zipper on the bag has been placed too high and makes the bag lose the original CELINE symmetry which adds to the beauty of the bag in my opinion.

The second bag pictured was indeed one I purchased on my own and although it is not an ugly replica it is just a mediocre one and shows that even if you think you know designer bags, you have to be careful with their replica equivalents as there are so many details you need to pay attention to. The second bag is a lot better than the first but the quality of the leather (which is something you have to see in person) is generally poor overall as it has a half plastic feel to it, making me personally doubt whether it is real leather at all. Additionally the dimensions of the handbag are off by a bit (it is supposed to be a nano) and if you can see it has more of a rectangular shape to it than a square shape. This bag is what most replica sites sell and they are good enough to dupe most people into thinking they are authentic CELINEs an expert would be still able to spot the bag as a fake. I have posted detailed photos below for you to take a look at to see all the details, and what the manufacturers missed in making it.

celine-nano-replica
Front view of the bag. This bag is probably around 80% similar to the original CELINE.
celine-nano-replica-bottom
The bottom of the handbag has pegs which a CELINE nano is not supposed to have since it is the tiniest model!
celine-nano-replica-back-of-bag
The bag is of the bag is ok, but you can see the shiny sheen on the leather here which makes the bag look really fake.
celine-stamp-replica
At least they got the stamp on the replica bag right!
celine-zipper-replica-bag
As you can see there is an overall unfinished look the the purse!
inside-celine-bag-replica
The interior stamp is very off compared to the original CELINE design. The good CELINE nano replica I reviewed had an accurate interior stamp.
inside-celine-bag-replica
Although I do not care too much about the interior of a replica bag I want the quality of the materials to be good. this bag had a plastic lining on the inside which was not very good compared to the genuine leather lining of the good nano replica pictured before.
celine-hardware-handle-zipper
The hardware was a bit clunky and large compared to the good CELINE replica and the authentic version of the nano as well, although at least they go the stamp on it!

Finally the third bag pictured is the good replica and honestly compared to an authentic CELINE replica it is very hard to tell the difference between the two. Everything from the leather to the interior are on key and right off the bat you can see that the square shape of the CELINE nano is accurately represented in this replica bag. If you want to see a detailed comparison between the third bag and an original CELINE in my original review of the purse you can click here.

Overall the moral of the story is that you have to be careful when shopping for not only CELINE replica purses, but generally all replica purses online as it is easy to end up wasting your money on a poor excuse for a bag! There are good CELINE replicas out there, you just need to make sure you know how to spot one and spend your money right the first time!

Replica Louis Vuitton Bags: Is it Hard to Buy them Online?

chatwithus1

Louis Vuitton is arguably the most copied bag in the world meaning there are many replica Louis Vuitton bags out there! This makes it even more challenging however when you are thinking of buying a knockoff as it means you have your work cut out for you in terms of finding a good replica Louis Vuitton. In this article I will compare and review a replica Louis Vuitton Damier Azur Totally to an authentic Louis Vuitton Damier Azur going over key tips to guide when you are shopping online! Take a look at the photo above! Can you spot the fake right off the bat or did it take you a few moments to compare the two? It can be really tough for buyers to decipher between real and fake nowadays due to the improving standards of replica bag manufacturers. If the first thing you looked at were the handles of the bag and noticed a color difference, do not let yourself be fully thrown off! The handles on the bag pictured on the left side have been patina’d which means they have oxidized due to exposure.

Louis Vuitton handbags are made with cowhide trimmings which naturally patina over time, giving the handles a darker look. When you buy a brand new Louis Vuitton (real or fake) it should look like the bag on the right where the handles are very light and untampered with. If you buy a used bag you can expect the handbag to have a patina’d handle(s), and if it doesn’t that is a warning sign that is a) fake, and b) a really bad fake. Anyways back to the initial question: could you tell which bag was the knockoff? If you guessed the bag on the left with the darker handles you are wrong, and if you guessed the bag on the right with the lighter handles you are right! Let’s take a look into the differences between the two bags. One note I would like to make is that the handbag pictured on the right is one of the best Louis Vuitton replicas available out there, and so if you are looking for one this would be as close to the real deal as you can get without buying an authentic handbag.

damier-azur-totally-fake-vs-real-replica-vs-authentic1

The bottom of both handbags are equivalent and there is no difference at all that would cause one to second guess the authenticity of the bag. The only difference is that the bag on the left which is used has lost some of its shape and become a bit more “loose” unlike the handbag on the right which has yet to be used. This loose-ness is not a factor in authenticity in this case however!

damier-azur-totally-fake-vs-real-replica-vs-authentic

A side view of both handbags once again showing no noticeable difference between the two handbags. The handles of the used authentic bag are a bit more stretched out and worn out compared to the replica handbag on the right.

damier-azur-totally-fake-vs-real-replica-vs-authentic2

Once again the biggest difference I would say Louis Vuitton replica handbags have from their authentic counterparts is the stitching quality. If you take a look on the bag on the left it is just a bit more well done than that of the one on the right which is not sewn in as deep. Other than that the tags are generally comparable.

damier-azur-totally-fake-vs-real-replica-vs-authentic3

The interior of both of the handbags are shown here. The light was a bit dark when I was trying to photograph the replica LV so sorry about that folks. You still get a general idea though and the interiors are fairly comparable. The interiors of replica handbags are one thing which I don’t usually sweat about as long as it is a quality interior and good enough to hold my stuff. However if something is off here or there it does not really matter in comparison to the total design so I would suggest you don’t sweat about it either!

Let me know what you think of the Totally replica bag in the comments below. Was a good fake or was it easy for you to spot?
